Insulated Tanks
Fiberglass insulation tanks are specially designed to keep a relatively constant temperature. The insulation materials are PU, foam, etc. While after the insulation, apply fiberglass or other suitable materials to cover and protect the insulation.
Size: DN500mm – DN25000mm or as per customer’s sizes
The insulated tank is a simple task to equip the tanks with a 50mm PU foam layer covered by a 5mm FRP layer. This method of insulation produces a K value of 0.5W/m2K. If needed, the thickness can be adjusted, for example, to 100mm PU foam (0.3W/m2K). But the thickness of insulation is generally to be 30-50mm, while the thickness of the outer protection cover can be 3-5mm.
FRP tank is strength higher than that of steel, casting iron, plastic, and so on.
Therefore, by combining the insulation and FRP, the FRP insulated tank has both FRP’s and insulation’s performance, such as high strength, corrosion resistance, lightweight, thermal keeping, etc.
